Aurora Primary Debating Workshop

As part of our commitment to increasing the critical thinking capacity for students around NSW, we are proud to work with Aurora College on their incredible debating and speaking programs.

For those who don’t know, Aurora College, NSW’s first virtual school, allows students to access a challenging academic program without the need to leave their local community — a great initiative for providing more opportunities for students experiencing regional and remote disadvantage.

Since our partnership with Aurora began in 2022, the school has reached the state finals in debating 3 times and critical thinking skills have been taught to over 400 of their students —we look forward to adding to those numbers again next year!

Today, our senior coaches Haddie, Joel and Makenzie spent a full day working with gifted primary students from all around state, running mini debates and getting them ready to trial for the year 7 debating program at Aurora in 2026.
