Critical Thinking and Communication Skills
for Regional School Students
ThinkTank Southern Tablelands is a free program dedicated to bringing together regional NSW school students to interact, collaborate and extend their critical thinking and communication skills.
Critical thinking is a key foundation for kids to effectively navigate an increasingly complex and confusing world. Our expert trainers guide our students through the discussion of real-world contemporary and historical issues, practical or philosophical conundrums, and behavioural and psychological biases. They reinforce the group’s growing knowledge through engaging activities and quizzes that underpin our approach to student learning.
Our students have fun being challenged as they develop their skills in a safe and supportive setting, where interaction and collaboration enrich the connections across peer groups from different schools and communities.
ThinkTank Southern Tablelands is made possible by generous funding from the Braidwood and Bungendore Community Bank, supported by a gratis contribution from our charity and voluntary donations from enthusiastic participating families. This sponsored program is only available to students in the Southern Tablelands area. As funding becomes available, we may extend our programs to other regional communities.
